Insights from the MACN Conference 2024 in Copenhagen

As a committed and active Member of the Maritime Anti Corruption Network since 2018, OMA Group was pleased to attend the members’ conference in Copenhagen from 24-25 April. With a record attendance of 240 participants, sessions included Port State Control, The cost of Corruption, Whistleblowing, Industry Challenges & Opportunities, Fostering the Right Industry behaviour, as well as breakout sessions on West Africa, Port Agents & P&I Correspondents.

Captains of industry networked with Captains of oceangoing ships, to ensure opinions were expressed and heard from every sector of the maritime community. “No cash MACN macaroons” with passion (fruit) flavour marked the start of the conference and the passionate drive towards greater compliance globally.
